Alright, I’m back with another freebie, and I’m actually pretty excited about this one. I decided to create a set of Illustrator brushes for myself. I’ve used circle clusters in a few designs over the past little while, and the chances seem good that I will use them again, so I’m being a bit proactive here, and creating a tool that I think will be very useful in the future.
I’m also giving it away. This free Circles Brush Package contains 10 unique art brushes, which you can use to turn ordinary circles into sweet, multi-layered design elements. There are also 10 unique scatter brushes, which will each drop circles along a path. These scatter brushes all have unique settings, which I encourage you to play around with to get just the right the effect you’re looking for!
Additionally, I have also included all of the unique shapes that I used to make the scatter brushes. If you just need a single circle element, feel free to use any of these shapes!
You can the Circles Brush Pack from the freebies section of my site. Feel free to use these brushes in your designs. If you do, shoot me an email or leave a comment. I’d love to see these textures in action.
Lastly, if you’re going to be using the scatter brushes, here’s a quick tip for you. If you don’t like the way the circles fall along your path, try applying the brush again. All of these brushes have at least one random property, so every time you apply the brush, it will look a little different. So, keep applying and reapplying until you get something that works for your design.
Have fun with these and enjoy!
